Sustainability is the continuing commitment to act responsibly by integrating social and environmental concerns into business operations. The commitment to promote sustainability goes beyond regulatory compliance, to focus on how companies manage their economic, social and environmental impacts, as well as their relationships with stakeholders (e.g. employees, trading partners, government).

The EcoVadis methodology framework assesses companies’ policies and actions as well as their published reporting related to the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The team of international sustainability experts analyze and crosscheck companies’ data (supporting documents, 360° Watch Findings, etc.) in order to create reliable ratings, taking into account each company’s industry, size and geographic location.

C I E TELEMATICA SRL has been awarded a bronze medal in recognition of sustainability achievement, by reaching the score of 58; to receive this medal, companies must have an overall score of 50-59.

CIE in in the top 26% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the telecommunications industry  and, in particolar concerning ethics aspects, in the top 14% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the same market.

This award is preparatory to obtaining, during this year, the ESG certification, which will enrich and complete the institutional certifications of C.I.E. which include: ISO 37001, ISO 27001, SA8000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001.
